Initiating Devices

Manual Initiating Devices

  • Pull Station: Wall-mounted devices that activate the fire alarm when the handle is pulled.

  • Break Glass Station: Requires breaking a glass cover before activating the fire alarm.

Automatic Initiating Devices

  • Smoke Detectors: Sense smoke and send a signal to the fire alarm panel.
